Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Culpeper, VA. This role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up extra shifts, increasing earnings while working at a designated site.

You will protect residents and staff, respond to incidents, and maintain secure access. A HS diploma and background check are required; training and advancement opportunities are available.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Culpeper, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$19.15 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
