Job summary

Allied Universal in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver for a full-time, day and night shift rotation. The role focuses on patrols at a healthcare facility, monitoring access points, and responding to security incidents to maintain a safe environment.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, at least two years of security experience, and familiarity with access control systems.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare and research environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with credential verification, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver - Tech Facilityin Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:
