Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver for a healthcare facility in The Dalles, OR. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, perform site-specific procedures, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role involves unarmed patrol duties, driving responsibilities, and collaboration with site leadership. A valid driver’s license is required, and pay is $21.98 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters to identify hazards and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with visitor management and access requests while maintaining a courteous presence.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate them to leadership and site contacts.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. • Wed 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related alerts, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with visitor management, directions, and access requests while maintaining a courteous presence in patient-care and public areas.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
