Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies in a healthcare/research environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with credential verification, and report concerns.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol activities and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver - Tech Facility in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver outstanding service and communication while working with a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare and research environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with credential verification, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
