Allied Universal in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide customer service to staff and visitors while adhering to company policy.

This role requires a valid driver's license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and the ability to work a scheduled daytime/evening shift; the driving component is essential and you can explore additional shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating observed hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
