Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Driver Site Inspection) in Omaha, NE to protect tenants and visitors across retail properties and other sites. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs and shift communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
