Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Driver Site Inspection in Omaha, NE. You will patrol the retail property, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail property, including common areas and parking zones.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations per procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
