Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while following site-specific procedures and security protocols at a government utility location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations per emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and access points; report suspicious activity and hazards.
• Monitor access to areas, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports; communicate information to site management and responders.

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
