Job summary

Allied Universal in Wittmann, AZ is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Driver. You will provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, while performing patrols and monitoring access points to deter incidents.

This full-time position includes driving responsibilities and adherence to site procedures. Minimum requirements include at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site procedures and assisting in emergency response when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management as required by site.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities and incidents according to site reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Wittmann, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology-focused transportation research location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of research and technology facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and other security-related observations according to site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
