Job summary

Allied Universal in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver to protect client properties across Commercial Real Estate and other facilities. This role combines customer service with vigilant security patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a professional presence to deter risk.

You will drive patrols, monitor access, complete clear incident reports, and collaborate with site contacts and leadership to uphold Allied Universal's values of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Guard card or security license preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and professionally.
• Carry out regular foot and vehicle patrols of commercial buildings and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions or violations per site procedures.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, property-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
