Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Driver in Phoenix, AZ for a part-time, overnight schedule at a financial institution. You will perform armed patrols, manage access, respond to incidents, and deliver professional customer service while driving between posts.

The role requires 3+ years in security or a related field, an armed guard license, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. You will join a team focused on safety, integrity, and reliable service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• 1+ year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with policy requirements.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures and laws.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess 1+ year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
