Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer Driver in Perris, CA. You will patrol a logistics site, monitor access, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintain­ing security.

A valid driver’s license is required, and duties include reporting incidents and ensuring safety through proactive presence. You will work a daytime schedule with multiple shifts and earn a pay rate of $19.73 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Experience with badge/access control systems preferred.
• Proficient with computers/tablets for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver authorization and maintain visitor/vehicle/incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report damaged property or policy violations, support orderly operations.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driverin Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report damaged property or potential policy violations, and help support an orderly environment for facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
