• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify site contacts or public responders as required.
• Prepare written reports and communicate observations to leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, traffic-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or public emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate written reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
