Day to day responsibilities include providing customer service to staff and visitors, maintaining access records, and responding to incidents with calm, proactive problem solving. A high school diploma is required and background checks are conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by local/state laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, issuing and collecting badges, and maintaining required access records.
• Monitor entry and exit points, access-control systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment; report irregularities and follow site-specific escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
