Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Control in West Chester, OH. You will monitor entry points, manage badges, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment for clients in tech/media/telecom locations.

Role includes patrols, incident response, and collaboration with Allied Universal leadership. Full-time schedule and hourly pay presented; background checks and drug screening apply where required.

Qualifications

• Guard card or security license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide security-related procedures for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain records.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter.
• Communicate incidents and policy violations professionally with site personnel and leadership.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy violations, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
