Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a utilities location by following site procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged infrastructure, unlocked gates or doors, and other security issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a utility operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged infrastructure, unsecured gates or doors, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
