Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and document activity and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders; escalate security concerns through proper channels.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and restricted locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders, escalating security-related concerns through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for armed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
