As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions, equipment concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity through required documentation and communication channels.
• Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
