You will serve students, staff, and visitors while patrolling campus areas and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, academic facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal supervision.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bike, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in security-related work are required.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
