Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers flexible, reliable hours on a fixed-anchor schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.25 per hour. Responsibilities include guest assistance, incident response, patrols of public areas, monitoring access points, and maintaining accurate incident reports.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 06:00 PMWed05:00 PM - 01:00 AMThur10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and other members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while representing Allied Universal professionally.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
