As a Security Officer Unarmed - Alarm Responsein Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
