Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for afternoon shifts in Greenville, SC. You will monitor assigned areas, perform patrols, manage access control, and respond to alarms while delivering courteous customer service with integrity.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal supervision regarding security-related concerns and site activities.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Afternoons in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, manage access control activities, and respond to alarm panel notifications. This role offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while using computer or tablet systems and working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
