Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Boca Raton, FL to manage access, greet residents and visitors, verify entry authorization, and monitor assigned areas. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and offers full-time employment with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year or more of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents and communicate information to appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control, greet residents and visitors, verify entry authorization, and monitor assigned areas to help maintain a welcoming environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation with Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with residential community procedures.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access logs while providing professional communication with residents and property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in security-related work is required.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A Guard Card or license is required.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
