Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer – Access Monitor in Spartanburg, SC. You will protect clients across various industries, monitor access points, patrol premises, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous service.

The role requires reportable observations, prompt incident response, and collaboration with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed. Availability for full-time evening shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service and follow site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per procedures.
• Conduct patrols of financial institution facilities and entrances.
• Monitor and document visitor activity and daily reports.
• Assist with access control and coordination with emergency personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of financial institution facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and maintaining accurate daily activity reports.
• Assist with access control, alarm response, and coordination with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.

As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
