• Background checks and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, including building interiors, access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and follow site procedures for visitors, deliveries, contractors, and personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, including building interiors, access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and follow site procedures for visitors, deliveries, contractors, and personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
