Job summary

Prosegur in Chicago is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to protect customers and employees while delivering professional service. You will perform general security duties, patrol, observe hazards, and follow client and Prosegur post instructions.

The role requires 18+ and a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication, a clean driving record, and the ability to work shifts including weekends.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by beingalerttoobserve, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand andcomply withProsegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and havebasic tointermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Train in multiple locations and cover when needed.
• Be adaptable to schedule changes
• Have availability to work more than two shifts to cover where the operator needs you to be scheduleddepending on coverage needs.

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GEDrequired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness toparticipatein the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Active PERC and 20HR
