Job summary

Omniplex in Chantilly, VA is seeking security officers to provide routine patrol and access control for aerospace facilities. Responsibilities include property control, reporting security and safety deficiencies, and enforcing access policies at gates and lobbies.

Candidates must have a current Top-Secret clearance eligible for SCI, able to pass background checks, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long periods. Training includes shift rotations and a 90-day probation.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver''s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer''s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer''s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
• Training will require shift rotations for the first 2 weeks and a 90-day probationary period.
• Should have knowledge of NISPOM.

PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION
