Job summary

Constellis is seeking Armed Security Guards to support 24/7 operations at facilities in Chantilly and Tysons Corner, VA. Must currently hold a Top Secret clearance and be willing to work 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6am).

Compensation is hourly ($39.87-$45.28) plus $6.15 per hour for health and welfare. Responsibilities include access control, incident response, observation and reporting, and adherence to Use of Force policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current TS clearance required, Full Scope Poly preferred.
• 6 months experience in law enforcement, corrections, security, or U.S. Armed Forces.

Job description

We are currently seeking Armed Security Guards to support the 24/7 operations of multiple customer facilities (GVA), located in the Chantilly and Tysons Corner VA areas. Various full-time shifts are available for enthusiastic individuals who currently possess at minimum a Top Secret clearance and are looking to become part of an expanding team within a large organization that can offer career growth potential.

6pm-6am 12-hour shifts only. Compensation:

$39.87-$45.28/hr

$6.15/hr H&W

Responsibilities

• Control access to facilities by monitoring sure equipment, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring all personnel entering the base have the proper identification.
• Respond to situations on base using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed by following established Use of Force Policy.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during day or night.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Maintains proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Qualified candidates must possess at least 6-months experience in either Law Enforcement,
• Department Corrections, Security, or the United States Armed Forces.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and able to multi -ask with little assistance.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and able to interpret documents to ensure all rules and procedures are applied.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving record checks.
• Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid/AED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current TS clearance, Full Scope Poly perferred.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle, drive a motor vehicle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds
• Inside and outside of facilities, moderate to extreme temperatures. May require travel between facilities.
