Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy port and transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter zones, with attention to varying weather, traffic, and working conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized persons and/or prohibited behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support day-to-day port operations by observing for hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, then communicating findings through appropriate reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
