Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer TWIC in Alvin, TX to monitor and protect client sites across chemical/petrochemical environments. You will perform patrols, control access, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced facility setting.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour, day/night shifts, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide security organization dedicated to safety and integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazmat concerns, and critical situations per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Support compliance with site rules including PPE and restricted-area access.

As a Security Officer TWIC in Alvin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, while observing for unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access control activities, verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors, and maintain required visitor and incident documentation.
• Support compliance with site-specific rules, including personal protective equipment requirements and restricted-area access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
