Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Response in Peru, IL. You will patrol and monitor manufacturing and industrial areas, provide excellent customer service, deter incidents, and report security concerns. Flexible day and night shifts help you build a schedule that works for you.

Position offers $21.50 per hour with a schedule that includes DayTime and weekend coverage; prior security experience is appreciated but not required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in line with federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain logs and reports.
• Observe site conditions and report hazards and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Observe site conditions and report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
