Allied Universal, a leading security provider, is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Columbus, IN. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintain a visible security presence, and support a safe environment for employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, following site procedures, and communicating effectively. This position offers a part-time schedule with evening hours and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
