Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Patrol in North Liberty, IN. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and a chance to serve manufacturing and industrial environments while building a career with a leading security provider.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, document incidents, and deliver excellent customer service. Pay is $16.00 per hour with opportunity for growth and access to our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements from job posting: access control/badge experience preferred, customer service experience preferred, age 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles, high school diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screen as required by law, licensing requirements may apply, valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and perform security-related procedures within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of production areas, parking, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Document patrols and incidents in logs and reports and communicate with site contacts.

You will support badge and access control processes while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
