Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Technology Facility in Denver, CO. You will monitor a technology-focused site, provide customer service to employees and visitors, and perform routine patrols to deter incidents while maintaining access-control procedures.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms and incidents, monitoring entrances and credential verification, and documenting observations for site leadership. CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

• Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other observations to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems and alarm panels as needed. What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and designated access points; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
