Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage production location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, people-first culture, you will work with integrity and teamwork to support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors at a food and beverage production location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, deliveries, and other site activity according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations or incidents through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
