Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Surveillance - Secret Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
