Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at our Bohemia, NY location. You will safeguard clients and provide professional customer service while following site procedures and contributing to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, controlling access, reporting incidents, and maintaining logs. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to explore additional shifts via the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activities, incidents, access control, and security-related observations.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
