Allied Universal, a leading security provider, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer – Roving Patrol in Hazleton, PA. You will monitor retail distribution sites, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff while maintaining a visible presence to deter security concerns.

Responsibilities include unarmed patrols, reporting, access control, and adhering to site procedures. Minimum age 18, HS diploma, background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution and business location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe incoming and outgoing personnel and vehicles, and report unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
