Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security‑related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
