Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Operations in Brooklyn, NY. You will serve and safeguard clients, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor assigned areas for compliance with posted rules and report incidents, hazards, suspicious activity, property damage, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while communicating professionally with transit personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
