Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - SOC Operations Surveillance in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate communications, monitor information, and support response efforts to maintain a secure environment for tenants and clients.

This full-time role requires 6 months of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible shifts. You will maintain logs, perform patrols, and deliver customer service in line with Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Proficient with computers or tablets.
• State or local security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries professionally.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the appropriate response to security-related concerns at the commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of dispatch activity, incidents, and communications in accordance with site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, building areas, and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
