• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and actions.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and security-related activities per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while demonstrating our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.88 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
