GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ. You will patrol environments, read surroundings, anticipate risk, and respond quickly to threats.

The role requires stamina and the ability to stand and walk for long shifts, with prior security or related experience preferred. We offer a set schedule, competitive pay at $28 per hour, and a broad benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, holidays, disability and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Active Armed Guard Card
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have Military, Corrections or Law enforcement experience
• Be able to provide High School Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule: Wed 11am- 5pm & Thu- Sat 5am- 5pm ( 42 hours per week)
