As a Security Officer for a Shopping Mall in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures and responding to security‑related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
