Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in El Paso, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and provide visible security to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a daytime schedule listed below. As part of a collaborative team, you will respond to alarms, manage access control needs, and document activities accurately.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established utility location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to facilities and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
