Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol in El Paso, TX. You will conduct patrols at a shopping center, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment for customers and associates. A valid driver’s license and background checks are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, including disputes, theft, medical situations, and other critical events, calmly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, entrances/exits, parking, and surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation per location procedures.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, including customer disputes, suspected theft, medical situations, and/or other critical events, in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances and exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation in accordance with location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
