Qualifications

• Two years of service in healthcare or medical-related field.
• Five years of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals, visitors, and permitted items entering the facility in accordance with established access control procedures and applicable policies.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of bags, packages, and other property as directed, escalating prohibited or questionable items through established protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Have at least five years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
