Job summary

The Village at Brookwood, a part of The WellSpring Group, is seeking a PRN Security Officer in Burlington, NC. The role involves campus patrols, responding to alarms, assisting residents, and maintaining safety across all facilities.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid NC driver’s license, and being 21 or older. Evening and weekend shifts may be required, with opportunities to contribute to a secure living environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NC driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work all Department shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to evaluate a given situation and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication and public relations skills.
• Six months’ security, military, law enforcement or EMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform foot and vehicle patrols across the campus.
• Vary rounds to deter criminal activity.
• Check apartments, gardens, maintenance, facilities, dining and common areas.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and assist healthcare staff.
• Record daily activities and report incidents.
• Assist residents and visitors with needs (carrying items, mobility support).
• Maintain logs and records in daily journals and vehicle logs.
• Initiate maintenance requests for safety-related issues.
