Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Segway Patrol in Omaha, NE. You will patrol retail and mall locations, maintain a visible presence, and deter security incidents while delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting activities, and communicating with site leadership. Minimum requirements include age and background checks; prior Segway experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Segway or similar platform is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Respond to incidents and emergencies with calm, effective action and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, parking, exterior grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation; communicate with site management.

As a Security Officer Segway Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. You will respond to alarms and support daily operations with professionalism and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
