Inspira Health Network is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in southern New Jersey. This role focuses on creating a safe, secure environment for employees, patients and visitors, and responding to emergencies.

You will perform proactive patrols, assist during codes and incidents, and provide courteous customer service under stress. A high school diploma and security experience are required, with professional certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of security experience; 3+ years in law enforcement preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• IAHSS Basic Security Officer Certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification within 100 days of hire.
• Able to interact effectively with staff, visitors, patients, contractors and volunteers.

This position is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, visitors, and property of the Inspira Health Network. Security officers will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. Inspira security officers will provide excellent customer service and will be able to competently work with people who are under stress and/or in need of medical assistance.
